“A Carthorse for the Knacker” / UK tour

Hello! I regularly forget to update this page, so you’re getting two updates at once. Cope.

We released a new song yesterday. It’s called A Carthorse for the Knacker and it’ll be out on a one-sided 12″ EP called One Down for Youth’s Ideals later in the year through Koepfen (DE), Through Love Records (DE), Smithsfoodgroup DIY (NL), lifeisafunnything (DE) and Dont Care Records (UK), as well as from ourselves. You can stream the song and read an interview with Allan on IDIOTEQ.

ALSO, we leave this week for a UK tour with BOXKITE. They’re a really good band, we’ve been friends for years and we’ve been trying to make this tour happen forever. It’s going to be great. See you there.

punk sucks 2

Come and see us in Sheffield and Leeds next week! Both shows are with Jungbluth & Cady, plus a bunch of other good bands. It’s going to rule.

ALSO, we’re playing some shows in the UK with Boxkite next month. We’re still looking for help with these dates, so if you want to involve yourself, please get in touch at – thanks!

20.03 North England
26.03 South England, maybe London?

ALSO ALSO, today marks five years since our first show/first EP coming out. Pretty mad. As previously discussed, we’re playing more shows soon, and we have a new record on the way (more about that soon).

That’s all for now, The Internet.

Hello, The Internet. We’re home from tour and still alive.

After making it through a month of shows in a van that was slowly dying, it finally broke down on the last day and we had to cancel the show in Leeds, which obviously sucked. On the plus side, we got to spend around 15 hours in the back of a tow truck, which is basically the next best thing.

Aside from that, tour was great. Massive thanks to everyone who set up shows for us, gave us a place to sleep, fed us, etc etc.

We’re coming back to the mainland in late August/early September for a short run with known moshers Boxkite. If you want to help us out with a show in the UK, Germany, France or the Netherlands, please get in touch. Thanks.

ALSO, for the people who ordered records from the webstore while we were away –  your stuff will be with you as soon as we can get organised and send everything out. Tour leftovers will be online soon too.

Here’s a photo from our show in Vienna. Thanks to Daniel from Lorraine / Pylon Network. I’ll try and add some more photos/videos soon. For now, that’s all.

summer tour 2015 NEW poster

We leave tomorrow for a month-long tour of Europe. We’re playing lots of cool shows with lots of good bands, and some amazing festivals too. Ourselves and Lorraine are still looking for a show on 13/7 anywhere between Serbia and Italy. If you can help us, please do.

While I’m at it, here’s an update on the merch desk: after you’ve picked up our LP, the split w/ Coma Regalia & Heart on My Sleeve and one of the few remaining copies of “For You and All the Rest…” (all of which you’re obviously going to do), you can grab one of these handsome tote bags to carry it all home in:

BUT, if you really want the world to know you like those records you just bought, you’re going to want a t-shirt to go with them:

Leftovers will go online after the tour. Please remember that if you order any records from our webstore in July, it won’t be sent until August on account of us being in a van somewhere and not at the post office sending you stuff. We’ll get it to you ASAP once we’re home. Thanks.

See you soon, friends.

We’re on tour again in less than a month! Here’s the list of shows for our summer tour which lasts for the whole of July. We’ll be playing new songs and stuff from Lights Begin to Dance, and we’ll have the LP with us for the first time, plus new shirts etc. We still have three gaps to fill, so if you can help, please get in touch!

Five of these shows are also with Lorraine from Vienna, Austria. They’re a great band that we saw for the first time at our show in Graz earlier this year. Go and listen to them!

Euro release & compilations

Slightly late with this update, but our record is now “officially” out in mainland Europe through I.Corrupt.Records. Order it here, or directly from us here, depending on which shipping option best suits you… or tell your local distro to stock it if both are too far.

Also, we were recently featured on these cool compilations:

RE:MIND volume 3 –  24 tracks with all proceeds going to the mental health charities SAMH and Mind. There’s also an accompanying zine you can check out.

Songs for the Dead volume 3 – 120 tracks all for nothing.

Thanks to Charlene at Ripcord and Tarquin at The Death of a Modernist for including us!
